A College Course for Parents

Raising Internally Motivated Kids

Help Your Child Develop the Inner Strength to Do What’s Right—Even When You’re Not There

External motivation can produce compliance. Internal motivation develops character.

Behavior matters, but behavior is only part of the story. A child can comply while being watched and make very different choices when no one is looking.

That’s why this course goes deeper. Parents aren’t simply trying to produce performance. They’re helping children develop the internal motivations that lead toward transformation.

  • 8 Focused Video Sessions

The course contains eight teaching sessions, each approximately 23 minutes long. Parents receive substantial teaching in manageable lessons they can work through at their own pace.

The sessions help parents move beyond simply managing behavior and begin intentionally strengthening the internal qualities children need for life.

  • 77-Page Course Workbook

A comprehensive 77-page workbook accompanies the video teaching. It helps parents capture key ideas, think strategically about their own children, complete practical exercises, and apply the principles to everyday family life.

The workbook is not simply a place to take notes. It is designed to help parents convert what they’re learning into an intentional parenting strategy.

  • Biblical, Heart-Based Training

The course explores how responsibility, conscience, compassion, integrity, temptation, correction, and maturity all connect to the heart. Parents learn to look beyond the immediate question, “How do I stop this behavior?” and develop a larger plan for helping children grow.

  • Practical Tools for Ages 3–18

The expression of internal motivation changes as children mature, but the underlying principles apply throughout childhood and adolescence. Parents learn how to adjust these strategies according to a child’s age, maturity, personality, and needs.

  • 30-Day Implementation Plan

Information alone doesn’t change a family. Implementation does.

The course concludes by helping parents develop a focused 30-day implementation plan so they can begin putting these ideas into practice in their own homes.
